Good morning all!

Whew… I am not really sure where to start, but this has already been an adventure and we are just beginning!  I’m sitting here this morning with my coffee finalizing everything for this little website and thinking of all that has happened behind the scenes.  Sometimes I feel like I’m rowing upstream, against rapids.  And then we hit smooth open waters.

Initially we felt empowered and moved to the point of opening a business to share the love and grace we experienced, helping families in need of a little extra love and support, with others.  After a lot of hard work and worry, we felt the frustrations that a business entails- details, regulations, fears, questioning & doubt – and yet, here we are.  Ready to launch (again) after hitting the pause button for a couple months and re-imagining the scope and shape of Tough As Nails.

We have added new products, new visions, new goals & that empowerment we originally felt?  Yep, still here!  Life is an adventure and I plan to take it with arms wide open and hope that in doing so I encourage my daughters to do the same and if I’m really lucky, I will encourage others to take that leap of faith when it comes their way too.

As we head into the holiday season, I encourage you to spend a little time thinking of those facing tough times and to also count your blessings.  And if you’re lucky enough to reach out and share a little kindness and love with someone who may need it today, thank you!
